Prohibited and Restricted Products Policy
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their proposed products comply with all legal requirements before being listed on the sales platform, and are approved for listing and available for sale in accordance with Depopshop's terms and policies. For the convenience of sellers, Depopshop provides examples (not an exhaustive list) of guidelines below for prohibited and restricted products that are not allowed to be sold on Depopshop. Depopshop will update this guideline from time to time when necessary. Sellers are requested to visit this page regularly for relevant updates.
1 Violation of Depopshop Terms of Service
If you violate this "Prohibited and Restricted Products Policy", the seller may be subject to a series of adverse measures, including but not limited to any or all of the following:
- Delete listed products or information
- Restrict account permissions
- Suspension and termination of accounts
- Freeze account funds, or directly deduct account funds to compensate for Depopshop losses if necessary
- Legal action
2 List of prohibited and restricted goods (will be updated from time to time, for more information, please see the prohibited list, logistics guide manual, etc. published on the Depopshop platform)
(1) Imitation guns, military and police supplies, and dangerous weapons:
1. Firearms, ammunition, arms and imitations;
2. Control devices that can cause others to temporarily lose their ability to resist and cause serious physical harm to others;
3. Firearms, ammunition, arms-related equipment, accessories, ancillary products, and imitation derivative handicrafts, etc.;
4. Regulatory knives, crossbow accessories, swing sticks, darts, axes, blow darts, knives with bleeding grooves and other regulatory instruments that may be used to endanger the personal safety of others, as well as electric shock devices for personal defense;
5. Self-defense equipment, equipment and facilities such as sprayers and liquid sprayers that may cause harm to the human body;
6. Police and military uniforms, signs, equipment and products;
7. Products or information related to religion, racial discrimination, or anti-religious beliefs.
(2) Flammable, explosive, toxic chemicals and drugs:
1. Flammable and explosive items;
2. Highly toxic chemicals;
3. Drugs, drug-making raw materials, drug-making chemicals and addictive drugs;
4. Fireworks and firecrackers;
5. Hazardous chemicals prohibited from sale in national or regional lists;
6. Drug smoking tools and accessories;
7. Relevant tutorials and books introducing methods of making flammable and explosive materials.
(3) Destructive information that endangers national security, political and social stability, etc.:
1. Content that is reactionary, undermines national unity, undermines sovereignty and territorial integrity, undermines social stability, involves state secrets, disrupts social order, promotes terrorism and extremism, incites ethnic hatred, undermines ethnic unity, promotes cults and superstitions, promotes religion and race Discrimination and other information, or books, audio-visual products, videos, documents that are prohibited from being published and distributed by laws and regulations, book products that have been eliminated or stopped being sold by the state, etc.;
2. Products or information that harms national honor and reputation, distorts, vilifies, blasphemes, or denies the deeds and spirit of heroes and martyrs, beautifies the historical facts of other countries’ aggression, or promotes militaristic ideas
3. Political-related books and periodicals and collectible confidential books, audio-visual products, videos, and documents that are not suitable for domestic distribution;
4. Stamp products prohibited by the state and philatelic products produced without the approval of the postal industry management department, as well as stamp products issued after 1949 containing the words "Republic of China";
(4) Pornographic, vulgar and aphrodisiac products:
Pornographic and obscene goods, pornographic advertisements and sexual services
1. Audio-visual products and videos containing pornographic and obscene content; pornographic escort and prostitution services; accounts and invitation codes of adult website forums;
2. Oral or external aphrodisiac products and artificial hymen that can cause others to temporarily lose the ability to resist and become unconscious; "triazolam", "fly powder", "fly water", etc. in sex toys;
3. Software and pictures used to spread pornographic information; audio and video products containing pornographic, violent, and vulgar content; original underwear and related products;
4. Anime, reading materials, games and pictures containing pornographic, violent and vulgar content;
5. Internet vulgar products.
(5) Products or services involving personal safety and privacy:
1. Software and equipment used to monitor and steal privacy or confidentiality;
2. Equipment used for illegal filming, recording, evidence collection, etc.;
3. ID card and ID card verification and reading equipment;
4. Software, tools, tutorials and products that steal or crack account passwords;
5. Personal privacy information and internal company data; provide personal mobile phone positioning, phone list inquiry, bank account inquiry and other services;
6. Sell, transfer, and recycle bank cards that have been invalidated or used for collection;
7. Car seat belt buckles and other auto accessories products with potential traffic safety hazards.
(6) Drugs and medical devices:
1. Psychotropic, anesthetic, toxic, radioactive, stimulant, and family planning drugs; non-drugs with added medicinal ingredients; drugs that are prohibited from production and use as identified by the Food and Drug Administration and publicized by the state (Second 2 of this item) (except items);
2. Drugs, blood products or medical devices used to prevent and treat human diseases; drugs produced and imported without approval from the drug regulatory department, or sold without inspection;
3. Injectable whitening injections, fat-dissolving injections, filling injections, slimming injections and other beauty injection products used for human body injection.
(7) Illegal services and tickets:
1. Forge and alter documents, certificates, official seals, anti-counterfeiting labels, etc. issued by state agencies or specific agencies, as well as services that can only be provided by state agencies or specific agencies;
2. Invoices (and services) that can still be used or used for reimbursement, foreign trade documents that can still be used, and services such as customs declaration, inventory, commodity inspection, and document procedures;
3. National official examination answers that have not yet been released to the public;

(9) Software, tools or equipment involving illegal gains such as theft and illegal purposes:
1. Illegal gains such as smuggling, theft, robbery, etc.;
2. Gambling equipment, exam cheating tools, car stopwatch equipment and other illegal equipment;
3. Satellite signal transceiver devices and software; instruments or equipment used for radio signal shielding;
4. Lock picking tools, lock picking services and related tutorials and books;

6. Software suspected of fraud and other illegal purposes;

(10) Commodities that violate national administrative regulations or are not suitable for trading without permission:

In addition to the prohibited and restricted goods listed above, any other goods that are prohibited from entry or exit in the jurisdiction of the buyer and/or seller, are illegal or restricted, or will be used to encourage illegal or restricted goods The products involved in the activities are all prohibited and restricted products. For products that require special business licenses, sellers should provide relevant supporting documents to Depopshop in advance. At the same time, the seller is responsible for reviewing the buyer's purchasing qualifications. Depopshop does not assume any responsibility or obligation for this.
If you see a listing that violates Depopshop policies, please click the "Report this product" or "Report this user" button in the drop-down menu on the product or user page to report it to Depopshop. If a policy violation occurs, Depopshop will send emails, system messages and push notifications to sellers, informing them that the products listed have been removed from the Depopshop website. Depopshop will also push push notifications for the listed products to buyers. You should ensure that your mobile phone is set up to receive push notifications in a timely manner.
